I’ve never understood that. Could someone please explain why this happens? Its not the relatives fault that the deceased is in debt.

I want to start getting out of debt so we can afford some stuff for ourselves. I feel like I need to pay these debts off and then think about what we need in our home. I mean we have food and clothes and all but, just the things that needs replacements like furniture. How do I go about getting out of debt quick but not paying everything at once? I just got a letter from a debt collection agency, giving me a certain amount of time to pay a bill. Will this negatively affect my credit score?

I have a bunch of negatives on my credit report and I am in a position where I can pay back my debts. I want to pay back the original lenders not only to assuage my guilt, but also to make a deal to delete my negative info. If I pay back lenders in full, what happens to the collection agencies that are on my report that “bought” the debt? Do I inform the credit agencies to investigate? Do I ask the lender to help? (Why would they want to?) Does it just go away? I’ve searched everywhere online and at the library and I can’t find the answer. Thanks in advance for your advice!!

I was wondering how much does it cost to pay a debt consolidation company to help you, because I want to know if it’s worth it. I’m in so much debt making barely and I don’t know what else to do. On payday I usually just have 100-200 dollars to myself because the rest goes to my bills.

My husband is going to need a new work car cause his about shot and he drives 50 miles a day to work. But we already have a car loan on my vehicle. It is our only debt of 14000 and my husband makes 45-50k depending on over time and work load. Would it be hard to get a small loan to get a little work car?
